Limited Labor Warranty
- Any Software installation , including the operating system and software added to or substantially changed since we provided the original service or labor.
- External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, or problems with electrical power or telephone systems.
- Servicing not authorized or provided by us.
- Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions.
- Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance.
- Operating system and application updates supplied to you via updates links or automatic update software (eg; Windows update)
- Problems caused by using accessories, parts, or components not supplied by us.
- Labor or services for which we have not received payment (except those accounts on time payment plans that are current).
- Labor warranty requests received after 30-days from your original invoice
LIMITED WARRANTY FOR LABOR PERFORMED BY US (revised 12/7/2021)
Paid repairs and installations are warranted for 30-days after completion of work. You must request warranty service before the expiration of this warranty.
What is covered by this limited Labor warranty?
This limited Labor warranty covers defects in workmanship in your Abilene Computer Service-provided Labor only for a period of 30-days from the completion of Labor as shown on the original invoice.
What is not covered by this limited Labor warranty?
This limited Labor warranty expressly DOES NOT cover:

ABILENE COMPUTER SERVICE'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR MALFUNCTIONS AND DEFECTS IN HARDWARE IS LIMITED TO REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN TIME TO THE TERM OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD REFLECTED ON YOUR PACKING SLIP OR INVOICE. NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD HAS EXPIRED. WE DO NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES PROVIDED FOR IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LIABILITY FOR THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS AGAINST YOU FOR DAMAGES, FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE, OR FOR LOST DATA OR LOST SOFTWARE. OUR LIABILITY WILL BE NO MORE THAN THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT THAT IS THE SUBJECT OF A CLAIM. THIS IS THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT FOR WHICH WE ARE RESPONSIBLE.

How long does this limited Labor warranty last?
This limited Labor warranty lasts for 30-days from the date of original repair or servie or installation (as shown on your invoice). The warranty period is not extended if we re-accomplish the repair or service. Abilene Computer Service may change the availability of limited warranties, at its discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.
What do I do if I need warranty service?
Before the warranty expires, please call us at 325-676-7222. You will be required to give the name of the purchaser and date of purchase at this time. Please have your invoice copy handy.
What will Abilene Computer Service do?
During the first 30-days of this limited labor warranty, we will re-accomplish any Abilene Computer Service-provided labor actions that prove to be defective in workmanship including on-site labor (If the original service was accomplished on-site, we will accomplish any warranty repairs at the location where the service was originally provided, if requested to do so. If the original labor was accomplished vertualy (Remote-Repair), we will accomplish any warranty repairs remotly or, at at our discretion, at our business location. If we are unable to satisfactorly re-accomplish needed labor we will refund your paid labor charges.
When you contact us, we will start a service ticket and schedule a mutually agreed upon date to re-accomplish any warranteed labor or service.
If we determine that the problem is not covered under this warranty, we will notify you and inform you of service alternatives that are available to you on a fee basis.
What if I purchased a service contract?
If you are on an active service contract with Abilene Computer Service, service will be provided to you under the terms of the service agreement. Please call us at 325-676-7222 to arrange for a service technician to assist you.
Is my limited Labor warranty transferable?
Abilene Computer Service Limited warranties on labor are not transferable. You may be required to produce the original invoice when requesting service under this warranty.

Limited Parts Warranty

- Problems caused by using accessories, parts, or components not supplied by us.
- Parts for which we have not received payment (except those accounts on time payment plans that are current).
- Parts received after 20-days from your original labor invoice
Limited Warranty for Parts Sold By Us(revised 12/7/2021)
Paid For parts are warranted for 15-days from the date of Invoice. Failure of parts purchased from us within 15-days from the date of the original Sales invoice will be replaced by us free of charge. After 15-days the manufacturers warranty applies. You are required to present the item to us at our regular place of business for any warranty service or replacement. You must request warranty replacement before the expiration of this warranty. Failed parts must be returned to us not-later-than 20-days from the date of the original invoice to qualify for in-house replacement. Parts warranties after the first 15-days must be handled with the manufacturer directly.
What is covered by this limited warranty?
This limited warranty covers defects in workmanship in your Abilene Computer Service-provided Parts only for a period of 15-days.

Abilene Computer Service may change the availability of limited warranties, at its discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.
What do I do if I need warranty service?

What will Abilene Computer Service do?
During the first 10-days of this limited Parts warranty, we will replace or if replacement is not possible, attempt to repair any Abilene Computer Service-provided Parts that prove to be defective in workmanship. If we are unable to repair or replace the Part we will refund your paid invoice.
When you contact us, we will issue a Return Material Authorization Number for you to include with your return. You must return the products to us in their original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk if the product is lost or damaged in shipment with-in 20-days of the original invoice date. We will return the repaired or replacement products to you. We will pay to ship the repaired or replaced parts to you if you use an address in the United States (excluding Puerto Rico and U.S. possessions and territories). Otherwise, we will ship the product to you freight collect.
If we determine that the problem is not covered under this warranty, we will notify you and inform you of service alternatives that are available to you on a fee basis.
Note: Before you deliver the product to us, make sure to back up the data on the hard drive and any other storage device in the product. Remove any confidential, proprietary or personal information, REMOVE THE ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD FROM THE PART IF IT HAS ONE, removable media, such as floppy disks, CDs, or PC Cards. We are not responsible for any of your confidential, proprietary or personal information; lost or corrupted data; or damaged or lost removable media.
